Hunter’s new Touch Screen Programmable Thermostat is a thermostat that can make your life very easy. With it’s 7 day programmable feature, it can provide much more convenience. For an odd working schedule or short home away from home trips, you can set any amount of the 7 days to be different. Many programmable thermostats require Saturday and Sunday to have the same setting, whereas on the 7-day, they can be split up.
This Hunter thermostat is Energy Star Certified and is virtually compatible with all heating and cooling systems, including multi-stage heat pumps. The thermostat also features Auto Season Changeover which will switch from cool mode to heat mode when programmed to. The AmbiTouch backlit display glows red in heat mode and blue in cool mode. The touch screen thermostat displays icons that help you keep track of the filter, the battery, and energy. All programmed memory is kept in permanent memory so if electricity is lost, your schedules are not. The unit can be electronically locked so the settings can not be overridden.
